The Soundtrack of our Darkened, Glazed-Over Lives

This guy's probably spent as much time learning that song by ear as I did playing Super Mario World...Which is a lot of time.

Pretty much all video games have music, and a lot of them have excellent music. What is it, though, about the Super Mario tunes that just seem to click with everyone and put a smile on their faces? I guess for the post-NES generation, video game music is the soundtrack of our lives.

Is that sad, or cool?
